AI Assistant Overview

A hands-free, multilingual (English, Tamil, Tanglish) AI assistant is now available across the entire portfolio. It uses a local semantic search engine (sentence-transformers / all-MiniLM-L6-v2) with no external paid APIs.

How to use it

  • On any page, use the floating orb at the bottom-right.
  • Type your question in the input; the button turns into a send icon to submit text.
  • When the input is empty, the button shows a mic icon – click it to speak a one-shot voice command like “experience evlo?”, “ennoda skill ah sollu” or “open GitHub”.
  • The orb overlay shows status, your transcript and the AI’s reply, which is also spoken using your browser’s voice.

If the orb is not listening, some browsers may require a one-time click on the “Tap if mic blocked” button to enable microphone access.
